Friend of CINI| Collapse

Two members of Easternbulls, Suman Dasgupta and Nimesh Shah leaves for Ladakh tonight.  They will take their bikes to Kalka and start riding from there.  All the best to Suman and Nimesh.  Ride Safe

Eastern Bulls is now "Friend of CINI"
Eastern Bulls always maintained its primary focus as building a strong bikers fraternity, traversing the length and breadth of this country with a strong sense of freedom, epitomized through the slogan on our last year's t-shirt - AIR ASPHALT & ADRENALINE. The members of Eastern Bulls also realize that beyond air on their face, the smell of fuel in their nose and thump of the bike in their helmet enclosed ears there exists an India that is unfortunate and deserves attention from those fortunate enough to own, maintain and ride expensive motorcycles.
CINI or Child in Need Institute is an award winning NGO that operates in West Bengal and Jharkhand addressing issues effecting poor women, children and adolescent from these parts of India. Eastern Bulls became a "Friend of CINI" on 18th April, 2010 by organizing a day-long program at their transit home called 'Hamara Ghar'. More than 20 members rode their beasts through the narrow streets of eastern Kolktata to Pottery Road where Hamara Ghar is situated. The members mixed and played with the under privileged children housed there. A wildlife film "The March of the Penguins" was shown to the children and finally the members had lunch with the kids. Before leaving the premises, the kids were brought downstairs and were indulged to get on the bikes which thrilled them to no end. Members assured the CINI officials that Eastern Bulls is always available for any socially relevant exercise that CINI may undertake in the future.

To all friends of Eastern Bulls
After long planning , preparation and waiting it is time now to see our friends , at the "Top of the World." The group will be starting to move from Kolkata , in 2 teams, from 9th July 2009. They will be going to Chandigarh by train. The second team will be leaving Kolkata on 10th July 2009. The ride will start from Chandigarh on 12th July 2009. A vehicle has been hired for the non-riding members. There are 6 motorbikes riding in-group.

Air-Asphalt-Adrenalin | Collapse

"Air, asphalt, adrenalin", if mixed in the right proportions and poured through the veins of a rider, can ignite imaginations that induces him to encompass the globe, it can inflame desires that carries him across high mountain passes, and it certainly kindles a dream; a dream called KHARDUNG LA. What makes people so addicted to motorcycling? is it not the inert craving of a man to be free that compels him to ride?, is it not the momentary feeling of being in command of life, that makes him open the throttle some more? is it not about dreaming of reaching a destination and not feeling sad when you leave it behind, that makes riding so holly?

What does a rider dream of, if it is not about riding his bike to khardung La?.

Where on earth would you get a more intoxicating mixture of "Air, Asphalt, & Adrenalin", if it is not at the top of the worlds highest motor able Pass?. What else can give you a better sense of freedom, if you cannot feel the pulse of your life through the thump of the 350 engine, amidst open landscapes and clear blue skies? What else do you dream of, if you do not dream about riding through snow capped mountains, on a road traveled only by the most elite riders of all? What else can you command if you cannot command the destiny of your own dreams?

You are going to die one day! all of you. The question remaining in my mind is; are you going to lie on our death beds and repent about not living through this dream? Bull Sourav.

Monthly Meeting Schedule | Collapse

Summer and Monsoon season is not riding time. Bulls decided to meet regularly to stay in touch and plan for next rides and activities. Scheduled official meet are in it place. Feel free to meet the members at

--Third Sunday at 10:30 AM

Also you can drop in at Arun Tea Stall ("Picasso Bithi - Hunger Ford Street" rear side of Saturday club) on every evening "ADDA" with members.

The 2009 Anniversary Ride, date has been fixed on 7th and 8th March 2009. Destinations proposed are "Salboni - Jhargram - West Mednipur" (around 400KM round trip). Check the "Upcoming Rides" section for more details

After the participation to the 2009 Rider Mania in January 2009, Eastern Bulls has started planning to the most challenging ride - "Ladakh" - "Leh" - "Khardungla Pass". The ride will be done in the month of June - July 2009. The excitement is in full swing. The enlistments for the ride is "ON". Last date to enlist your name for the "Khardungla 09" - ride is 15th March 2009. So what are you waiting for?

The Riders are back from RM 09 - Otty. We are having a get-together at Indra's place on Sunday the 8th of Feb at 12:00PM. A presentation and photo session will be held. Group will also celebrate Indra's birthday.
